Morocco Business Visa

Quick Answer

For eligible nationalities, the Morocco business visa is the Morocco eVisa with a business purpose. You apply online, and the official portal asks for one business document: an invitation letter from a Moroccan company, a meeting confirmation, or a business cooperation or partnership document. The eVisa allows one entry and a stay of up to 30 days.

A business trip to Morocco follows the same three routes as any short visit, and your passport decides which one is yours. Many nationalities enter Morocco without a visa. A large group can use the Morocco eVisa, applied for online before departure, with a business purpose. Others apply for a visa at a Moroccan embassy or consulate. This guide covers the business route on the eVisa: what the business purpose asks for, how to apply, and the limits of a business eVisa. Between February and October 2026, 65 of the 901 travellers who applied through evis.ma chose the business purpose, and none of them was refused.

Is the business eVisa the right route for you?

  • Visa-free. If your nationality is exempt, you need no eVisa for a short visit. Check your nationality in the country directory before you apply for anything.
  • eVisa-eligible. If your nationality is on Morocco's electronic-visa list, the eVisa is your route. Some nationalities qualify on the passport alone; others also need an accepted visa or residence permit, set out in the qualifying-documents rules.
  • Consular only. If your nationality is on neither list, you apply for a business visa at the Moroccan embassy or consulate responsible for your country.

This guide never gives a verdict for a single nationality: the country page for your passport does. For the policy behind the three routes, see the Morocco visa policy overview.

What the business eVisa covers

There is no separate business eVisa. The Morocco eVisa is issued for tourism or business, and you choose the purpose in the application. With the business purpose it covers a short business visit, such as meetings with a Moroccan company or partner. It does not cover paid work, study or living in Morocco: those go through a Moroccan consulate on a different visa.

Documents you need for a business eVisa

  • An ordinary passport, valid for more than 90 days on the day you apply and for your whole stay.
  • A recent photo and a clear scan of the passport identity page.
  • One business document. With the business purpose, the portal asks for any one of these: an invitation letter from a Moroccan company, a meeting confirmation, or a business cooperation or partnership document.
  • If your eligibility rests on it, your accepted visa or residence permit, as set out in the qualifying-documents rules.

What a business eVisa costs and how long it takes

The business purpose costs the same as any Morocco eVisa: USD 169 with Standard processing (1–3 business days) or USD 229 with Urgent processing (1 business day), per traveller. The price covers the government fee and our service; what the Morocco eVisa costs breaks it down. The fee is not refunded if the application is declined, so settle your eligibility and your business document before you pay. The approved eVisa arrives by email.

How long a business eVisa lasts

The eVisa is valid for 180 days from the date it is issued: that is the window to enter Morocco. Once you arrive it allows a stay of up to 30 days, and it is single-entry. If you travel to Morocco for business several times, you need a new eVisa for every trip: one eVisa does not cover a second entry, even within the 180 days.

How to apply for a Morocco business eVisa

  1. Confirm your route in the country directory: visa-free, eVisa or consular.
  2. Get your business document from your Moroccan host: an invitation letter, a meeting confirmation, or a cooperation or partnership document.
  3. Gather the rest: passport, photo, passport-page scan and, if your eligibility needs it, your accepted visa or residence permit.
  4. Complete the form, choose the business purpose, and enter every detail exactly as it appears in your passport.
  5. Pay online with Standard or Urgent processing.
  6. Receive the eVisa by email and travel with it and the passport you applied with.

When your route is confirmed and your documents are ready, start your application.

If your business eVisa is refused

None of the 65 business-purpose applications submitted through evis.ma between February and October 2026 was refused. For a business trip, the documents to get right are the business document and the details in the form: both must match your passport and your trip. If a refusal does come, fix the cause and reapply.

Common business-trip mistakes

  • Choosing the business purpose without a business document. The portal asks for one; have it before you start.
  • Planning several trips on one eVisa. It allows one entry; each trip needs a new eVisa.
  • Planning paid work. The business eVisa covers business visits, not employment.
  • Details that do not match the passport. Names, numbers and dates must match exactly.
