Quick Answer
Core Information
Albania: visa-free for short-term stays in Morocco
Albanian citizens can travel to Morocco without a visa for short-term stays. The decision entered into force on 15 August 2026. There is nothing to arrange in advance.
The Morocco eVisa applies to nationalities that need a visa to enter. For short-term travel Albania is not one of them, so the eVisa is not part of your route.
How the waiver came into force
The Embassy of Morocco accredited to Albania notified Albania’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs that the Moroccan authorities had waived the visa requirement for Albanian citizens travelling to Morocco for short-term stays. The decision entered into force on 15 August 2026.
What the visa waiver does not cover
The waiver covers short-term travel. It is not a work permit and it is not a residence permit: employment, study or settling in Morocco are separate routes, handled through the Moroccan consular network rather than through this waiver.
Where to check the current rule
Entry rules can change. Before you book, confirm the current requirement for your nationality through Morocco’s official government channels.
