A visa-free tie newer than most travellers think

Colombians often assume they have always been able to reach Morocco freely, but the current arrangement is recent. The two countries signed a reciprocal visa waiver in April 2021, restoring an exemption that had lapsed back in 1978, and it came as a package — a bilateral air-transport agreement was signed the same day, opening the way for more direct connectivity between Latin America and Morocco. The visa-free stamp you receive today is the product of that 2021 reset.

What the 90 days allow

The window is per visit and is meant for temporary stays, not for taking a job, enrolling in a long programme, or settling. Keep your passport valid for the trip, be ready to show onward travel, and count the days from entry — an overstay is typically settled with a fine on departure.

Getting there from Colombia

No airline flies Colombia to Morocco nonstop; the common routing is Bogotá to Madrid and on to Casablanca. For entry, a valid passport is all that is required.
