Key numbers
The median is the middle value: half of the orders were faster, half were slower.
| All orders | Standard | Urgent | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Median time | 2.7 days | 3.0 days | 21 hours |
| Half of orders took between | 1.3 and 4.5 days | 1.8 and 4.8 days | 13 and 43 hours |
| Within 1 business day | 38% | 31% | 81% |
| Within 3 business days | 78% | 75% | 95% |
| Within 5 business days | 92% | 91% | 96% |
| Within 7 calendar days | 91% | 90% | 96% |
Business days are Monday to Friday. Moroccan public holidays are not removed, so these counts are slightly pessimistic.

How this compares with the official processing times
When the eVisa launched, Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced processing times on diplomatie.ma: applications submitted online would be handled within 72 hours on the standard track and 24 hours on the faster track.
Our data is close to that:
- The median Standard order took 72.8 hours.
- The median Urgent order took 21 hours.
Medians are not guarantees, though. About 1 in 4 Standard orders took longer than three business days, mostly because of weekends. Our figures also include our own document check before submission.
You can also apply directly on the official Accès Maroc platform (acces-maroc.ma). evis.ma is a private service: we check your documents, submit the application for you and support you until your eVisa is issued.
The day you apply matters
The process largely pauses at weekends. 96% of eVisas were delivered on a weekday, and Monday was the busiest delivery day. The chart at the top of this article shows the same figures.
| Day you paid | Median time to eVisa |
|---|---|
| Monday | 2.0 days |
| Tuesday | 2.3 days |
| Wednesday | 2.3 days |
| Thursday | 3.9 days (slowest) |
| Friday | 3.2 days |
| Saturday | 2.7 days |
| Sunday | 2.4 days |
Tip: if you are short on time, apply early in the week or choose Urgent processing. Thursday and Friday orders usually wait over the weekend.
Recent months were faster
Orders paid in July–September 2026 had a median of 2.1 days, down from 2.9 days in April–June 2026.
Results by nationality and country of residence
We only show groups with at least 30 completed orders. Differences partly reflect how many people in each group chose Urgent processing, not nationality alone.
| Group | Median time to eVisa |
|---|---|
| Pakistani citizens | 3.1 days |
| Nigerian citizens | 2.8 days |
| Indian citizens | 2.4 days |
| Egyptian citizens | 2.0 days |
| Residents of the United Kingdom | 3.0 days |
| Residents of the UAE | 2.7 days |
| Residents of Germany | 3.0 days |
| Pakistani citizens living in the UK | 3.2 days |
| Nigerian citizens living in the UK | 2.4 days |
How far in advance should you apply?
9 in 10 of our orders were ready within a week, but about 3% took more than two weeks. We recommend applying at least 1–2 weeks before your trip.
Applying early carries little risk: the eVisa is valid for 180 days from the date of issue and allows a single stay of up to 30 days.

Methodology
- What we measure: the time from payment confirmation to the moment our team attached the issued eVisa to the order. This includes our document check, submission to the Accès Maroc platform, the Moroccan authorities' decision and our upload. It does not include the time you spend on the form; most customers pay within minutes of saving their application.
- Period and scope: more than 1,200 evis.ma orders paid between 8 April and 9 October 2026, from applicants of more than 90 nationalities.
- Timestamps: taken from our order records. Where the exact eVisa upload time was not stored, we used the time the order was last updated, which closely matches the upload time.
- Excluded: test orders, refunded or rejected orders, orders without a delivered eVisa, and orders still in progress.
- Privacy: all figures are aggregates. We do not show groups with fewer than 30 orders, or minimum and maximum times.
