A Guatemalan passport qualifies for the Morocco eVisa directly, on the passport itself — no third-country visa and no residence permit.

The Latin American outlier

Most of Latin America enters Morocco visa-free, so Guatemala stands out: a Guatemalan traveller does need an authorisation, and the eVisa is it. Neighbours such as Mexico are waved through on the passport, whereas Guatemalans confirm the eVisa first — but the condition stops there, resting on the Guatemalan passport rather than on holding any US or European visa. The two countries have kept relations since 1971, and Morocco runs a resident embassy in Guatemala City.
