Jordan: eligible for the eVisa on the passport alone

A Jordanian passport qualifies for the Morocco eVisa directly. The application asks only for the passport — no Schengen, US or UK visa first, and no residence permit — and the authorisation is issued online before departure.

Two thrones with a shared claim

Jordan and Morocco are ruled by the Arab world's two Sharifian dynasties: both the Hashemites of Amman and the Alaouites of Rabat trace their line to the Prophet Muhammad, a descent on which each monarchy rests its religious standing and which essentially no other reigning house shares. It is a quiet kinship between two courts at opposite ends of the Arab world — and part of why the two states have long moved in step, down to 2011, when the Gulf monarchies invited both, as the only Arab kingdoms outside the Gulf, to join them.

What the eVisa allows

It is issued for a visit — tourism, business or family — not for paid work, study or residence, which go through Moroccan consular channels.
