Core Information
Where Lebanese applicants found their second document
The eVisa decision for a Lebanese traveller rests on a second document you already hold, and where you live decides which one you are likely to have. Of the 25 Lebanese applications submitted through evis.ma between February and October 2026, 8 came from people living in Lebanon, 7 from the United Arab Emirates, 4 from Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and 6 from Europe and the United States. Every one of them was approved.
Which documents make you eligible
Morocco accepts two kinds of document, and they are not interchangeable: one is a visa, the other a residence permit.
An accepted multiple-entry visa. A valid multiple-entry visa issued by the Schengen Area, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Norway or Japan. It must remain valid for at least 90 days from your arrival in Morocco. A single-entry visa does not qualify; an electronic visa or travel authorisation from these countries counts in the same way.
An accepted residence permit. A valid residence permit issued by any European Union country except Cyprus, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway, Switzerland or the United Arab Emirates. It must remain valid for at least 180 days from your arrival.
The document must be genuine, currently valid and in your own name. Your passport must be an ordinary passport, valid for more than 90 days on the day you apply and for your whole stay in Morocco.
Applying from Lebanon
Living in Lebanon gives you no residence permit that counts, so the route runs through a visa. The applicants who applied from Lebanon used a multiple-entry Schengen visa or a US visa in their passport. Check that yours is multiple-entry and still valid for at least 90 days on the day you arrive in Morocco; a single-entry Schengen visa, even a recent one, does not qualify.
Lebanese residents of the Gulf: only a UAE permit counts
A UAE residence permit valid for at least 180 days from your arrival qualifies on its own, which is how the 7 applicants living in the Emirates applied. Residence permits from Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman do not count. The 4 applicants living in those countries qualified through another document: a multiple-entry Schengen visa, or, in one case, a residence permit issued by Greece.
If you hold none of these documents
Then the eVisa is not open to you, and the route is a consular visa from the Moroccan embassy in Beirut.
