Morocco Visa for Georgian Citizens: Are You Eligible?

Georgian eligibility rests on a real visa or permit

A Georgian passport does not open the eVisa by itself. Georgians travel to the Schengen Area without a visa, but that access is not what Morocco asks for — an actual visa or residence permit is.

The relationship is oddly lopsided: for years Georgia let Moroccan visitors stay up to 360 days without a visa, yet Georgians themselves reach Morocco only through this conditional route — most often on an Italian or Greek residence permit earned in care work.

Which documents make you eligible

Eligibility rests on a second document you already hold. Morocco accepts two kinds, and they are not interchangeable — one is a visa, the other a residence permit:

An accepted multiple-entry sticker visa. A valid multiple-entry visa issued by the Schengen Area, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan or Ireland. It must remain valid for at least 90 days from your arrival in Morocco. A single-entry visa does not qualify.

An accepted residence permit. A valid residence permit issued by any European Union country, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway, Switzerland or the United Arab Emirates. It must remain valid for at least 180 days from your arrival.

The document must be genuine, currently valid and in your own name. Because these conditions decide the whole trip, confirm yours with the eligibility check before you rely on it.

Where Georgian applicants usually qualify

Georgian passport holders visit the Schengen Area without a visa for short stays, and it is tempting to count that access here — but it is not a visa and does not qualify you. What does qualify is a residence permit, held by Georgians who work across the European Union — Germany, Greece and Poland among the most common destinations — or an actual multiple-entry US, UK or Schengen visa.

If you hold none of these documents

Then the eVisa is not available, and you would apply for a consular visa at the Moroccan mission responsible for Georgia.
